We all have a work that the Lord has given us to do. He had a plan for our lives even before we were born, but He has given us a choice. We cannot serve God and the devil at the same time. Even if we do not make a conscious choice, our silence or inaction is a choice for the enemy. Over the past months I have seen significant changes in my life. Every day we should be learning something new from the Lord. If we are not, we are standing still. Not growing in the Lord means that we can become stagnant, thus become lukewarm. That is frightening because the Lord said that He would rather that be either hot or cold. Those who are lukewarm, He will spew out of his mouth. In November of 1998 my husband underwent intensive surgery and the Lord healed him. The doctor's prognosis said it was terminal, but God said he would live! Dr. Church and I have been through many things in our lives to teach us more about the Lord and make us ready to do more of His work.It is not easy serving the Lord, and we will surely experience difficult trials and temptations. I can't imagine living without the Lord by my side and in my heart. We all have such a short time on this earth and we should go all the way with Him. The rewards are so great. |
| We are spirit, so when we die our spirit and soul lives on.
We can
choose eternal life with God or eternal life with demons. What a
choice!
I know the enemy tries to hide the truth and deceive us because that is
his job. We do not have to live there. If my husband had not chosen the
Lord, he would not have been healed and would be able to do the work
chosen
by the Father.
We all have such a wonderful life serving the Lord. The He will not require more from us than we are able to bear and He has something very special for each of us. My heart goes out to souls who are lost, but it is also hard to observe those who Christians who do not give all to the Lord. We have gone many places and seen many things, but I think the worse thing I have ever seen is people who have a form of godliness. I am afraid that many "...deny the power thereof..." by refusing to accept the wonderful gifts of salvation, healing and deliverance that Jesus left with us. I pray that we all repent and, like David said, ask forgiveness for even our secret thoughts. There is an Almighty Power that can be within each of us. Believe that God can do anything. Don't live by Biblically unfounded traditions, but be brave enough to come boldly to the Throne of God asking for truth. He will not deny us unless we come to him with a hard heart that cannot receive. Remember, if we will come with a broken and contrite spirit, He will hear our cry. |
| I have come to the realize that the Lord will go to great
lengths to
save those who are lost or need to come closer to Him. His love is
beyond
human love. He is Love. The human mind cannot comprehend what that
means,
but He wants us to just love Him back. It is really pretty easy once
you
start working on it.
You do not have to know how or why God works. All you have to do is to know what He told you and act out the faith that is in all of us who serve the Lord. Let your words and actions say "Lord, thy will be done and I will do it." With faith in action you will be able to accomplish the personal commission God has given you. You stand in solid confidence knowing that you are walking in His perfect will. Open up your heart to the Lord. Really open up like you never have before. I don't care if you have been a pastor or church leader for years. I don't care that you are a great evangelist, a saver of souls or just a church member, you still need to come often to the Throne of Grace! Don't live your life to please people, live to serve the Lord. As your love for God grows, you love for people will also grow. I pray that the anointing of the Lord be on these words. I pray that no matter how long you have lived a certain way, that the presence of the Holy Spirit guide your mind to change and accept the riches of body, mind and spirit. The Lord bless and keep all of you as you reach out to the Holy Father and serve Him only. In the service of the Lord, Dr. Vicki Reeves-Church

Greetings to you in the name of the most Holy Father and His Son, our precious Jesus by whom All things were made... ; and without him was not any thing made that was made (John 1:3).
I invite the Holy Spirit to inhabit this place and His anointing be sent out to all who receive His voice.
Today my heart is full with the wonders of our great and mighty Lord. I am thankful for life and for His magnificent glory that fills all who are willing. His love ascends from the highest hill to the lowest valley. We will never experience the fullness of that deep love as long we inhabit these earthly bodies, but one day soon, we will walk in complete Holy knowledge of those things that are now hidden in the most secret places that only the Lord inhabits. I look forward to that day when we will see Him face-to-face. A day when pain and sorrow will cease.
We can look forward with peace toward
the day
when this life shall end and everlasting
life will greet us. I pray that all will
allow
the Lord into their hearts. There is no peace
without Him because He has created an
empty
place deep inside our hearts that can
only be filled with His Spirit. Man
without
God is a lost soul seeking fulfillment in earthly possessions not
recognizing
his own Creator. He is like a ship without a rudder drifting upon the
high
seas.
As Christian leaders and lay members we should ask the Lord to give us all a great desire for the salvation of the lost of this world. This is why we are here -- our first and true calling is to reach the unsaved and hurting. Anyone who does not have this burning desire should seek the Lord, asking Him to renew the essence of the Great Commission in their innermost beings.
If you would just look within your hearts maybe you would see the face of a child, man or woman who is without hope. I have walked among them and have seen their darkness and their despair. To these dear people there is no hope for the morning light. You may say that it is not possible for you to go and help, but you can most certainly be a part of this great task by becoming a prayer and financial partner of the world-wide sister ministries of Freedom Missions Relief and Joel Philip Church Ministries.
There is hope even in the worse situations and there is a Friend who is ready and willing to help. The Lord never wants to see anyone lost, He will go to great lengths to bring the destitute and wounded to Him. But He has called His people to do His bidding, to be His servants, putting Him before themselves.
I challenge you to walk forward with new determination to make a difference in these waning days.
May God bless and keep you,
Dr. Vicki Reeves-Church, Co-President
