Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Welcome from all of us at Tokyo International Bible College & Seminary A Branch of Freedom Bible College and Seminary. 

We’re very pleased of your decision to earn a degree and receive help in releasing your potential in Japan, and the world. I’ve been a church- planter and head pastor in the United States and Japan for over twenty years.  With the assistance of Dr. David Hutchinson, and the gracious help of FBCS, we welcome this opportunity to not only preach the Gospel, but also to prepare effective Christian leaders for ministry in Japan.  One of our goals as pastors and teachers is making disciples of Christ through the help of the Holy Spirit so that men and women can understand their function and fulfill God’s wonderful purpose for their lives. 

Tokyo International Bible College and Seminary - FBCS is a member of the International Commission on Academic Accreditation, Inc. (ICAAI) 

Because of time constraints, inconvenience, or financial difficulties, many cannot attend a typical resident Bible college or seminary. Recognizing these restraints, we realize the need for affordable, resident and non-resident, inter-denominational, Bible colleges and seminaries.  Tokyo International Bible College and Seminary - FBCS was founded for the purpose of making a good, Bible-based education available to pastors and Christian workers who are not at liberty to leave their churches or jobs to attend a typical resident college. 

When you have completed the required course work you will have knowledge and wisdom in the truths of the Word, and be prepared to do the Lord’s work. We at Tokyo International Bible College & Seminary - FBCS believe that you have the potential to accomplish everything that God has purposed for your life. 

I am proud to be affiliated with Dr. Joel Philip Church, President in their home office at Rogers, Arkansas.   Dr. Church and his staff work constantly and selectively as they are led by the Holy Spirit in setting up branches of FBCS in various countries around the world and across the United States. 

Graduates of Tokyo International Bible College & Seminary - FBCS will be equipped to minister effectively in Japan, and the four corners of the globe, after earning a recognized degree from a college and seminary that endeavors the Great Commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:19-20).

Assisted Academicssm
    Assisted Academicssm is a program used exclusively by Freedom Bible College and Seminary and Freedom Ministry Training Centers. This plan allows the student to enjoy the fast pace of home study along with the benefits of classroom instruction.
    Students enrolled in one of the FBCS branches or FMTCs attend class only one or two times a week. The rest of the work is done in the comfort of their home. This plan allows the student to complete a 4 year degree or certificate in 2 years.
 Tuition
    Tuition costs of Tokyo International Bible College Branch of FBCS are among the lowest in the world.  Prices are kept low to make affordable the pursuit of an advanced degree or certificate. An interest-free, pre-approved monthly payment plan is offered to everyone enrolled in FBCS.  It is not our objective to make money. Our objective is to offer an opportunity for personal improvement and to promote advancement in the furtherance of the Kingdom of God not only in Japan, but throughout the world.

Curriculum
The courses of study are for neither the passive student nor someone who is interested in an easy way to an advanced certificate. Our curriculum is designed to give you a tremendous amount of accurate information and to challenge your mind. It is appropriate to reference the supreme authority of the Word in 2 Timothy 2:15 - "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." God never intended for our walk with Him to be without effort. He expects us to search the scriptures and other sources to find our place in His great plan.

The curriculum is well balanced and biblically-based being described as evangelical, ecumenical, with an emphasis placed on developing a solid Christian character for the work of the ministry. All FBCS curriculum is accredited by the Accrediting Commission International and the International Commission on Academic Accreditation, Inc.
