The following are excerpts from the testimony of
Dr. Joel Philip Church
concerning a diagnosis of a very rare type of cancer. He was given, at the most, a few weeks to live. This was in November of 1998.

He has recovered and now he and his wife, Vicki, are touring the world to give the tremendous testimony. Results of these services are salvation, healing, miracles, deliverance and self renewal.

"The surgery was stopped when the oncologist  found Anaplastic cancer (an inoperative type). It was reported as one of the most rare and most aggressive types of cancer known. It was  so aggressive that it could be seen growing by the naked eye.

"Three members of the surgical team, came into my room with the report of terminal cancer. They gave a slight chance of living more than a few months. They suggested radiation and chemotherapy at the same time to extend life very slightly.

Drs. Church and Dr. Don Evans (Interviewer) on the TBN set

"The team said that this type of cancer was so rare that it was almost unknown. In the few cases it was found was always in old men and these men were usually in otherwise poor health. In other words, my case was about one in a million.

"The medical team research found only thirty to fifty people in the past twenty-five to thirty years. Only three hospitals in the world had treated it. One was the Mayo Clinic, another was a clinic in Sweden and the third was a university hospital.

"I need to stop here and insert an anecdote about Vicki. This took place sometime back in the seventies while we were living in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. We had two cars, one of which was a worn out Chevrolet Corvair convertible parked in front of our home. The battery was completely dead and it had not run in many months. The tags were even expired. Well, it happened that she needed to go to a grocery store but I had driven the other car to work. She laid her hands on the dilapidated car and prayed. She loaded the two boys, put the keys in the ignition. A few minutes later I met her on the road. Yes, a trail of smoke followed and the half flat tires trembled, but she was driving a car that wouldn't run. As far as I know that was the last time it was driven while in our possession.

"She is indeed a woman of faith. I have learned over the years to highly respect and accept her words of stability, comfort and confidence.

"Dr. Vicki asked the pathologist the percentages of his diagnosis being correct; he said, `about ninety-nine percent.' She said, 'Then there is a one percent chance that you are wrong, correct?'

At the Door of Death

"I spend most of the time trying to decide how to handle my final days.

I can tell you that priorities change when you face eternity. Who will take care of Vicki? To whom should I leave what? How would CFM and FBCS continue? Who would take the reigns? I decided I would leave my small
coin collection to our grandson, Henry.

"Soon my mind turned to eternity. You may class me as a weak Christian, but questions began to enter my mind. Was I truly ready? I have made many mistakes. Had I been truly forgiven? You can talk about security in your salvation, but when you stand ready to meet Him you realize there is no room for error.

"Then, from heaven's courts a peace came upon me. I felt no fear, no remorse. Of course, I did not want to leave my precious family and cherished friends, but I was ready. I begin to think about others that were facing eternity then I faced the reality that I had been slack in telling people about the most important event concerning the
life of man."

From Heaven's Courts
-
Shackled to a bed that led to the grave,
Beyond the ability of man to save.
Darkness was around my spirit and me,
The demonic coven  revelledin victory.
-
Then descended from heaven's courts
A peace that defies verbal support
Fluttering from the tongues of angel's praise
Songs and hallelujah's not legal to raise.
-
Speaking so my heart alone could understand
Echoed God's eternal, majestic command.
"Satan you must go, before you does majesty stand
Not in the form of royalty, but in the form of man."

I made a commitment to God; that as long as I lived I would tell people about Jesus, of His salvation, His love and His healing power."

Miracles are common in JPCM crusades

    Questions often asked...

How much do you charge for crusades?

    1. We do not charge. Although it takes money to operate, JPCM is not about money.
    2. All we ask is that you cover expenses as described in To Prepare for the Meeting below. Any love offerings above that are appreciated.

How big does the church have to be to host a crusade?

    3. As with the money involved, we are not about the size of the crowd. We have ministered to very small groups and very  large groups.
    4. We do, however, ask that you do your best to promote the crusades in advance of the scheduled date. We do provide pictures, a biography other pertinent information about Dr. Church that can be used in local promotions.

How many services does Dr. Church conduct in a crusade?

    5. Crusades can be as little as one service and to as many as two weeks or more. Typically, the desired length of crusades is 3 days with 1 to 2 services per day.

What can the host church expect from a JPCM Crusade?

    6. Typical JPCM crusades result in salvation, healing, personal prophecy, deliverance and renewal.

Why are the services called "crusades" rather than "revivals?"

    7. The crusaders of old had a specific purpose. Here is the definition of "Crusade" as according to Wikipedia
The Crusades were a series of military conflicts of a religious character waged by much of Christian Europe     against external and internal threats. Crusades were fought against Muslims, pagan Slavs, Russian and         Greek Orthodox   Christians, Mongols, Cathars, Hussites, and political enemies of the popes.

The Crusades originally had the goal of recapturing Jerusalem and the Holy Land from Muslim rule

    8. JPCM crusades wage war against external and internal threats of repression, indolence and forms of ungodliness. JPCM crusades have a goal of recapturing the church from the clutches of the enemy.

What is the theme Dr. Church's messages?
    9. He always shares, at least in part, the testimony of his healing from terminal cancer. But typical messages are geared toward renewal and revitalizing the church. He believes that a "charged" church is an effective church. Of course, his first allegiance is toward the anointing and free flow of the Holy Spirit

Are JPCM Crusades good times to get to know Drs. Church?
    10. A dual answer is appropriate here. As described in "To Prepare for the Meetings" section below, Drs. Church will be there for business and only one business, and that is to accomplish the goal of the Holy Spirit for those services. Dr. Church will not fellowship before services because at that time he is walking in the special anointing that is to be released only during the service. But, after services and at specially scheduled times they are extremely open to meet with, and fellowship with anyone.

With what denomination is Dr. Church associated?
    11. Dr. Church considers himself to be interdenominational because he works with many, many different denominations. He does believe that miracles are still a part of today's church, but he has a talent to blend in with any church without causing dissention. He honors personal beliefs of the local church.
    12. You may read the JPCM Statement of Faith here.

    When was JPCM formed?
    13. Joel Philip Church Ministries was formed under the direction of the Lord in November of 1998 and was incorporated  in 1999 soon after his healing from terminal cancer.

    To Prepare for the Meetings

    Back to JPCM

    To Prepare for the Meetings

Steps to a Wonderful and Powerful JPCM Crusade

For questions on booking and setting dates, please call 800-494-7497 and speak with Dr. Susan.

    1. Begin a campaign of prayer and expectation by announcing and promoting the saving, healing and delivering miracle power of the Holy Spirit.

    2. Prepare a team of counsellors and others to work in support areas. Be sure these are people who expect, not just hope for, miraculous results.

    3. Insure that arrangements have been made well in advance for lodging, a car and driver and airline tickets (E-tickets) for Drs. Church. A rental car may be helpful for their use at times when they are not involved in meetings.

    4. Drs. Church appreciates first class travel, but in no way expect it. They are willing to fly in any class available. Flights departing before 9:00 a.m. are discouraged.

    5. Drs. Church will normally be accompanied by an armor bearer/security officer, therefore, two hotel rooms will be required.

    6. Please instruct drivers to keep verbal conversation to a minimum during the ride to the crusade services. Other than a quick greeting, they should not attempt to engage Drs. Church in conversation.

    7. It is helpful if you are able to provide a private entrance to a pre-service area for Dr. Church. Please limit access to this area while Dr. Church is present.

    8. Although Dr. Vicki may mingle before services, Dr. Church will not.

    9. At no time should anyone (including pastors) communicate anything concerning individuals in the meeting to either of them. This insures that the Holy Spirit will receive glory for anything said in a prophetic nature during the service.

    10. The pastor or another designated minister may meet with Dr. Church for a short, but intense, time of prior to the service.

    11. Have your music depart prepared to play the traditional Jesus Loves Me immediately after his introduction. He will take the podium to that music.

    12. In the event the do not bring their own, you should provide a security person/armor bearer for Dr. Church. This person should be a man of God who takes the job seriously.

    13. Pastors, please understand that to protect the anointing and move of the Holy Spirit, Drs Church are selective in who takes part in the laying-on-of-hands segment of the service. The pastor and his small selected and prayed-up staff are always welcome. Dr. Church will invite others if, and when, he feels the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

    14. JPCM is not about money but it takes money to operate.

Some of these measures may seem extreme, but JPCM crusades are designed to accommodate an awesome move of the Holy Spirit. Drs. Church and the JPCM team are not interested in the typical non-productive "revival" services.

Please call, email or write if I can be of help in any way. God bless you and those in your ministry.
