Dr. David Lavigne

Dr. David P. Lavigne is the General Superintendent of the Canadian Evangelical Christian Churches (CECC) and President of the Freedom Bible College and Seminary of Canada. He is step-dad to two daughters, Melissa and Laura. He and his wife Cynthia are the proud grandparents of Kimberly Faith (Kimmie).     Dr. Lavigne is the founding president of CECC, a full-gospel denomination that strives for “Unity with Liberty and Diversity.” He continues to follow the Lord's vision to train and release men and women into the five-fold ministry to spread the Gospel, according to Ephesians 4:11, 12.    He has earned his Masters Degree in Biblical Theology, and a Doctorate Biblical Theology from Freelandia Bible College & Seminary. His favorite scripture verse is “Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6 KJV 

   Through our branch status with Freedom Bible College and Seminary, Freedom Bible College and Seminary of Canada is a ministerial training institute which offers distance learning to born-again Christians called to the ministry as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. 

   Freedom Bible College and Seminary of Canada was founded for the purpose of training and releasing men and women into the five-fold ministry to spread the Gospel. 

   Freedom Bible College and Seminary of Canada is strictly full-gospel and inter-denominational. It is an independent ministerial training school specializing in theological and vocational studies based upon fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith. 

   We have seven Articles of Faith to which each student and faculty member must subscribe. Freedom Bible College and Seminary of Canada believes these to be the first and foremost doctrines of the Bible.

   I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost; born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven; and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come and judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the universal Body of Christ; the communion of the saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and life everlasting through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The vision of Concepts of Freedom Ministries is broad and vast. Remembering precisely when Vicki and I began hearing God speak a special vision of ministry into our spirits is difficult.
