A Message From the General Superintendent
The Canadian Evangelical Christian Churches is a vibrant
New Testament denomination, proclaiming the Gospel message to the world.
Our vision is to prepare and release men and women into the five-fold ministry
(Ephesians 4:11, 12). Our purpose is to prepare and develop leaders in
Christ. Our plan is to train and release Christians in ministry as Christians,
ministers, and counsellors through courses and seminars (2Timothy 2:15).
Establishing a seminary is key to this training.
As a denomination, we have seven Articles of Faith to which
each member must subscribe. CECC believes these to be the first and foremost
doctrines of the Bible.
Articles of Faith
1. The Bible as the written Word of God
2. The Virgin Birth
3 The Deity of Jesus the Christ; the Trinity
4 Salvation through the Atonement
5 The guidance of our life through prayer
6 The return of the Saviour
7 The millennial Reign of Christ
Confession of Faith
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and
earth; and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by
the Holy Ghost; born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate;
was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day
He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven; and sitteth on the
right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come and judge
the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the universal Body
of Christ; the communion of the saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection
of the body; and life everlasting through Jesus Christ our Lord.
